How to apply for a working holiday visa for Australia

Passport holders of Luxembourg have to apply at the Australian Embassy Germany - Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) in Berlin.

Generally, they are required to provide the following documents alongside their application form. It is strongly suggested that applicants submit all the documents with their application:

  • letter of government support;
  • evidence of meeting education requirement;
  • evidence in functional English;
  • evidence of sufficient funds;
  • passport copy;
  • passport photo;
  • fee.

Important Notice:

Since the 16th of November 2018, the applicant must lodge his Work and Travel application online trough the Department of Home Affairs' website www.homeaffairs.gov.au.

Paper applications will no longer be accepted.

This change only relates to the method of lodging the visa application, so all visa requirements and eligibility criteria established under the MOU with Luxembourg will remain unchanged.
